Bernd has more than 25 years of experience in brand management, consumer experience management, digital marketing, live communications and creative leadership in key industries and across global territories. He advises hotels, travel agencies and destinations on customer brand experience.
His expertise lies in translating international market dynamics into consumer-centric brand strategies that can be measured by data-driven and KPI-oriented reporting systems.
Prior to founding I Love Travel in 2016, he held various management positions in brand, marketing and communication at international companies such as Design Hotels™, WPP Company United Visions, and FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany.

Gabriele is a lifely/creative business enthusiast. She has +10 years of professional experience within the retail, travel and tradeshow industry ranging from corporate buying, offline marketing, sales and the curation of brand portfolios.
Sometimes we are not sure if Gabriele is part of our team or if she has been infiltrated by our customers as their spearhead. If the role of Chief Client Officer did not already exist, it would have been invented for her.
She loves questioning routines, forming strategies and building ideas from scratch. With a dash of lime.
Maire-Luisa Nielsen
Content & Program
Maire-Luisa is currently finalizing her thesis to complete her bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management. She is the helping hand of the program & content department and assists in researching and curating topics and formats. Besides that, she is supporting the marketing & communications team by producing rousing content for social media.
Maire-Luisa has her roots on the North Sea island of Föhr (the locals call it nothing less than the Frisian Caribbean), which is probably the reason why she always has this smile on her lips and seems to carry the sun in her heart.
