Under the motto “Travel! But how?” the Berlin Travel Festival offered a free stream from 9 – 12 March 2021. The online video show was packed with panels, tutorials, tips, films, presentations and interviews that are also available as VoD now.
We developed the concept, campaign, content for SoMe, website and blog. Also, we selected and booked all speakers. The production on site was carried out by our team in cooperation with other technical service providers.

We Love Travel! was presented by ITB Berlin and Berlin Travel Festival and supported the recovery of the tourism industry. It offered a digital platform and 3 days of livestream for all players involved into tourism and travel. From industry professionals to consumers.
We developed the campaign and put together the content for the website, social media channels and blog. We also took care of booking all out-of-home advertising and creating the promotional materials.
We Love Travel!

We developed the overall strategy for the event, designed the campaign and put together the content for the website, social media channels and blog. We also took care of booking all out-of-home advertising and creating the promotional materials. Our program team compiled the content for the consumer days, including booking all speakers. The entire on-site production was also handled by our team in cooperation with other technical service providers.
The New Traveler Magazine

For the third time in a row we created the magazine for the Berlin Travel Festival – The New Traveler – both magazine and blog.
The magazine is published annually while the blog is updated weekly with new articles.
As part of the magazine project we were responsible for the content (incl. interviews, articles, picture series, listings). All content was strongly aligned with the Berlin Travel Festival program.
For the picture series , we took over the entire production incl. set-design, model booking, location scouting, production and post-production.

It is backed up by a network of creative people, artists and travel enthusiasts.
Since March 2019, the Berlin Travel Club creates limited series of travel essentials. The products were presented during the Berlin Travel Festival 2019 and are now available online. Product development as well as content & communication was taken on by our agency until now. Also the brand experience during Berlin Travel Festival incl. stand design and production was managed by us.

From 8 -10 March 2019 the Berlin Travel Festival took place at Arena Berlin. Aligned with the motto “Travel Different”, we developed the concept and campaign as well as content for the website, social media channels, magazine and blog. Our team also took care of the booking of all advertising and creation of all promotional materials. We selected and booked speakers for all event days. Also, the production on site was carried out by our team in cooperation with other technical service providers.
South Tyrol

In March 2019 South Tyrol was represented for the first time as a holiday destination with its own stand at the Berlin Travel Festival. South Tyrol wanted to highlight its destinations core values: Nature, food, art, but also recreational aspects such as wellness and relaxation.
As the agency responsible for the Berlin Travel Festival, we took on stage management at the south tyrol stage and performed the pre-registration process of all workshops that were offered. Also the creation of various content such as social media posts, blog posts and video material as well as the integration of south tyrol within the press conference was managed by us.
The Design Hotels Book

To mark its twentieth year, Design HotelsTM has released a special anniversary edition of its annual book. The publication features in-depth profiles of 244 of the world’s most distinctive, original hotels, as well as the creative minds behind them. The limited collectors’ item, which is available as an XXL edition weigh in almost 25 kg, comes with two design objects by Finnish designer Alvar Aalto: the Stool 60 and Table 80B, both designed by Aalto in 1930s and customized for this exclusive edition. Together, the three items comprise a peerless object d’art for design enthusiasts.
Idea and concept for the XXL book, the collaboration with Artek and the global launch tour were conceived by former DH team members – and the now core team of the ILT creative collective.

The Berlin Travel Festival is hosting a Berlin Travel Night every two months for their community. During the event the community explores what travel means in Berlin and beyond. It’s more than just an evening of exciting stories, music, and screenings: It’s a platform for exchange and finding the next great adventure.
We developed the concept & design and set up the communication, program and production. Since April 2020, Travel Nights are also accessible online via live-stream.
Church of Gestalten

Voted best stand design at the Berlin Travel Festival 2018 was the so called “church of gestalten”. A space and booth created on behalf of gestalten publishing – a remarkable publishing house with a focus on the aesthetic and content of coffee-table books, monographs and collected edition of people, architecture, visual culture, design & fashion, escapism, food & beverages, travel, and contemporary art. As unique finds old, well-preserved wooden church pews served as a hub to pause, to relax, to reflect and to immerse while reading or absorbing the book editions on show in the huge shelf vis-à-vis.

The task was to present “Flims Laax Falera” as a “freeride destination” at the Berlin Travel Festival 2018. Flims Laax Falera stands for nature experiences and outdoor activities such as skiing and snowboarding, trail running, hiking, climbing, biking etc. Like probably all alpine regions, the destination Laax does not strive to attract more tourists, but the right ones. At the Berlin Travel Festival they met exactly the right target group – a new generation of active, sports-loving travelers.
In order to make Laax an experience at the Berlin Travel Festival, a fully interactive stand concept was presented. No catalogues, no booking offers. Instead, a mobile workshop in which BTF visitors were able to build their own longbord in various workshops under the guidance of the Laax team. Naturally made of real, high-quality wood from the Laax forests to convey the special experience of nature.
Content Creator Initiative

For a content creator initiative within the framework of the Berlin Travel Festival we set up a gathering of 26 content creators together with our partner “Destination Digital” – a content and influencer marketing agency, who casted the influencers worldwide.
During the event influencers and brands had the opportunity to meet, network, and cook up plans for future collaborations. All meetings were pre-scheduled in advance so both brands and influencers were able to make the most out of their day at the festival. The project also included providing a solution for the booking process. Also, we were handling the invitation management, program, (meetings and stage presentations), accommodation and transportation for the content creators. During the event we ensured a smooth course of events with our team of professional stage managers, and the right technical set up.
Shop Shift Conference

Together with the Dan Pearlman Group, who are experts in turning the entire customer journey into a consistent brand experience, we developed the program for the conference. The event is designed for travel agents and professionals from connected industries who are seeking new ideas on traditional retail concepts.
As an agency, we developed the concept and worked out a marketing and communication plan to get the message across. We also handled both the content and technical production of the conference.
